Today on the 2014 Jeep Patriot, we are doing a test fit of the Thule Gateway XT trunk mount 2 bike rack. That part number is TH9006XT. Now, we already have our bike secured down. First I'm going to show you how we do that. We have 2 cradles in place with 3 straps, 2 on our frame and one as our anti-sway in the back. We are going to start by releasing those straps, and then we can pull our bike off and set it off to the side. more

Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot we're doing a test fit of the Thule Raceway PRO Trunk Mount 2-Bike Rack. That part number is TH9001PRO. We already have our bike secured down, so we're first going to show you how we do that. You have two cradles in place with three straps, two on our frame and then one as our anti-sway in the back. We're going to release those and then we can pull our bike off and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, we can start off with a few measurements. First is going to be overall what we're adding to our vehicle; it's going to be about 18-3/4 inches. We do have the option to rotate our arms down. more

Today on our 2016 Jeep Patriot we are doing a test fit of the Thule Passage Trunk Mount two bike rack. That part number is TH910XT. We already have our bike secured. I am first going to show you how to do that and then go over some features of the rack itself. We have two cradles in place holding our bike down with three straps, two on our frame and one as our anti-way strap here in the back. We are going to pull down and lift up to release our straps. Then we will be able to pull our bike right strait off our rack and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, always suggest that you replace your straps so you don't lose or damage any of them. We will take a few measurements here, the first one I am want to take is overall added to our vehicle with our arms hanging out here. more

We're going to pull down and lift up to release all of our straps, and we'll take our bike off and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, I always suggest that you replace your straps so you don't lose or damage any of them, and then we'll take a few measurements. Our first one's going to be our overall that we add to our vehicle with our arms hanging out, and we're adding about 22 inches to our vehicles. Now, if we wanted to park in a place with close quarters parking, we could come up to our two gray levers here. more

To release those we're just going to pull down and lift up, and then we'll pull our bike straight off our rack and set it off to the side. Thule Passage Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2013 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today, on our 2013 Jeep Patriot, we'll be doing a quick test fit of the Thule Passage Trunk-Mounted 2-Bike Rack, part number TH910XT. We'll begin our test fit by placing the rack up onto the rear hatch, or excuse me, the rear bumper. Now, the bottom portion of the rack does need to be placed on the upper tier of the rear bumper here, and then we'll just make sure that the rack is centered onto the back windshield. Then the first thing I'm going to do is just use the top hooks and clip them to the top part of the rear hatch. This is just going to help make sure that the racks stay in place while I continue to move around the rack and install the other clips. Now, I'm not going to tighten these all the way. I'm just going to get them nice and snug, again, just to help me keep them in place. Now, the side strap and the bottom strap is all connected, so I'm going to do the side first, then come down, and actually I'm going to do the bottom. more

Thule Archway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Review - 2013 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2013 Jeep Patriot we'll be test fitting the Thule Archway Truck Mounted 2-Bike Rack, part number TH9009XT. We'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack up onto the upper tier of the rear bumper. You just want to double check and make sure that the pads are fitting right onto the bumper. Switch this one around just a little bit just to make sure it sits right. The pads are kind of elongated so if you don't have them sitting right, the rack is going to be kind of crooked and you don't' want that. Then what we'll do is we're going to take the top straps and hook them to the top part of the hatch. We'll tighten it just a little bit. more
